Healthy chocolate crackle

These snack bites are a healthy version of a chocolate crackle. They are great for kids because they are free of sugar and nut free (so can be taken to kinder’s and daycare centres). Adults love them too, these are a perfect after dinner treat with a cup of chamomile tea – the perfect way to wind down. Super easy to put together, healthy, tasty – we love them, let us know what you think.

1/2 cup Buckwheat groats

1 tbsp Cocao (raw unprocessed Cocoa)

1/2 cup Coconut oil

50g Goji berries

50g Shredded coconut

3 tspn Chia seeds



Place small paper patty cases in mini muffin tray.

Melt coconut oil on low heat, add to dry ingredients and mix gently. Spoon mix into cases and place in freezer for 20 mins. They can be stored in the freezer or in cool environments can be stored in a well sealed jar or tin – keep in mind that coconut oil will melt over around 25 degrees.
