Chinese medicine has it’s foundations in preventative medicine and it can help enhance fitness in a number of ways. I use  acupuncture and Chinese herbal remedies with clients for goal setting and to improve their motivation and  will power as well as increasing energy and stamina. I find this is especially helpful when clients are stepping up fitness training or returning to training after a period of down time.  Acupuncture  is also great in providing strength and stability to muscles and joints to enable efficient and injury free training, particularly if there is a history of injury.
